Our History
The Information Technology and Systems Center (PUSIM) of Universitas Merdeka Malang was established to support digital transformation on campus. Since its inception, PUSIM has grown into a division responsible for IT infrastructure management and information system development.
Starting from a small team handling campus networking, PUSIM has grown into an organization with several teams: the Network Team managing infrastructure and network security, the SIM Team developing various academic and administrative information systems, and the Administration Team managing operational balance.

Duties
To carry out planning, development, management, control, and maintenance of technology-based information and communication systems to support the development of Tri Dharma Higher Education activities.
Functions
- Planning, design, management and development of information and communication systems (software, hardware, and infrastructure)
- Preparation and control of management information system applications supporting Decision Support System (DSS)
- Control, maintenance and development of data for management decision-making and data archiving
- Planning and implementation of human resource development in information technology and management information system implementation
- Planning and management of partnerships with information system and information technology partners
- Planning, development and implementation of university information system integration with DIKTI, LLDIKTI and other relevant external institutions
- Preparation, maintenance and control of technology for online learning implementation
